Tips for camping cooking

Whether you’re a seasoned camper or not, a few handy do-it-yourself tips and camping meal ideas are never wrong.

Pancakes

This can only buy natural. But much cheaper fill an empty ketchup bottle pancake mix. This way you always have the proper amount and is also another easy carrying. Pancakes on the go!

Herbs

Fill empty Tic Tac boxes with herbs. This saves a lot of space, and you can still play the kitchen princess!

Matches

Keep your games in a glass jar and stick sandpaper on the lid. They not only stay dry, but it can make them instantly ignite! For nonhobbyists: Keep your matches dry in a plastic storage box.

Spices on the BBQ

Fresh herbs you harvest in countries like France just free from the roadside. Not a waste of money so to put them except directly on the coals on your meat. When the coals are all gray, and axle, and there you lay fresh sprigs of rosemary or thyme to receive meat and vegetables delicious spicy flavor.

Croissants on a stick

Buy a tin croissant dough and wrap it around a stick. Briefly over the fire and you have a delicious BBQ cross ante! Tip: fill them with sausages, Nutella, Calve peanut butter or marshmallow for an extra taste sensation

Orange muffin

Easy Frittata

Ingredients for four people

  • 8 eggs
  • One handful of grated cheese
  • One bell pepper
  • Eight cherry tomatoes
  • One bag of cell via potato cubes
  • Two cloves garlic
  • Three spring onions

Time: Less than 30 minutes

Preparation

  • Slice the onions and garlic into small pieces. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut into small pieces. Cut the tomatoes into oblong slices.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl of parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat some margarine in a frying pan and fry gently chopped spring onion and garlic. Add the bell pepper and potato cubes and cook it for about 2 minutes.
  • Reduce heat very gently and add the egg mixture to the pan. Let the frittata yarn in approximately 10-12 minutes. Leg after a minute or 8 slices of tomato on top of the frittata and sprinkle a little black pepper.
  • Serve the frittata with a fresh green salad with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.

Tortellini Soup

Ingredients for four people

  • 50g Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • One liter of vegetable stock (tablet)
  • One pack (à 500 gr) passata
  • One scale (à 250 gr) tortellini with cheese (fresh pasta)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 400g Italian Toorak mixes (chilled)

Time: Less than 30 minutes

Preparation

  • Heat in a (soup) pans with olive oil. Fry the wok vegetables 4 minutes. Pour the tomatoes and broth. Cook the soup gently for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook in plenty of salted water for the pasta according to package directions. Drain the pasta and add to the soup. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Distribute the tortellini across four bowls and serve with the cheese.

Budget! Stew with green beans and bacon

Ingredients for four people

  • 450g green beans
  • 1 onion
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Two tablespoons tomato paste
  • 800g potatoes (e.g., CêlaVíta mini works, each)
  • 250g bacon
  • One pinch of salt/pepper

Time: Less than 30 minutes

Preparation

  • Clean the green beans and cut them in half. Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes.
  • Chop also the outing. Fry the bacon until they are cooked with onion.
  • Add potatoes and green beans and mix well.
  • Add the tomato paste and fry for 1 minute. Finally, insert the spices and water.
  • Now let this simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the moisture has dissolved.
  • Divide the court into four plates and serve.
